Alan Hollander is Nokia’s VP of Global Subsea Systems Engineering.
Based in Amsterdam, Alan leads Nokia’s global subsea systems engineering team responsible for network upgrade solutions. Acting as a key technical advisor both externally and internally, Alan has been involved with some of the largest subsea network upgrade projects. His responsibilities include providing technical leadership, identifying technical market trends and helping to drive innovation of subsea network upgrade solutions to provide value to cable system owners.
Alan has 25+ years of experience in the optical networking industry, in various roles, and holds a PhD in Physics and an MBA.
