Kurt Pynaert is leading Autonomous Networks in Nokia, both at Nokia level and in the Nokia Network Infrastructure (NI) business group, across FN/IP/ON.Kurt started years ago pioneering autonomous networks core concepts and architectures, including intent-driven operations, control theorem (= applying control engineering in Telco). For that he leverages his background in Automation, Control Engineering and Robotics. New Technologies adopted in Telco and derisked already from these other industries. This includes the intent-control loop, sense-think-act paradigm stems from these other industries.
Kurt holds a master’s degree (MSc) in electrical engineering, specialization in automation, and postgraduate program in business management, and since 2019 Kurt is appointed as Bell Labs Fellow, and 2023 Industry Fellow.
